Mortgage and General Insurance Adviser / Trainee Mortgage and General Insurance Adviser

Location: Cambridge City Centre (Off Mill Road)
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent (On-site only, no remote working)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Mortgage and General Insurance Adviser or a Trainee Mortgage and General Insurance Adviser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide high-quality mortgage and general insurance advice to both new and existing clients. Your responsibilities will include assessing client needs, offering appropriate advice, and ensuring the best possible customer service throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert mortgage and general insurance advice to clients.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service to new and existing clients.
  • Assist clients with the completion of mortgage and insurance applications.
  • Maintain and update client records using relevant databases and systems.
  • Work on own initiative.
Required Experience:
  • Mortgage and General Insurance Adviser: Must have previous experience and be CAS (Competent Adviser Status) qualified.
  • Trainee Position: Previous experience in the financial sector is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided to achieve CAS status upon completion of CeMAP and internal training programs.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, Access).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information:
  • Staff car parking available.
  • Salary starts at £28,000 (negotiable dependent on experience), with additional monthly commission and an annual bonus based on performance.
